The editorial team of this publication sent a request to the NSC to clarify whether an investigation was conducted regarding possible violations of criminal legislation, including Article 170 of the Criminal Code.

In recent days, videos have been actively circulating on social media, claiming that Saburov provided financial assistance to Russian military personnel.

Details

It was recently revealed that popular comedian Nurlan Saburov has been banned from entering Russia for a period of 50 years. This decision was made in the interests of national security and compliance with legislation, as well as to protect traditional spiritual values.

After returning from Dubai, Saburov was stopped at Moscow's Vnukovo airport. He declined the offer of free deportation and purchased a ticket back to Kazakhstan, arriving in Almaty on February 7. Another host of the show "What Happened Next," Alexey Shcherbakov, returned with him.

Lawyer Alexander Khaminsky noted that Saburov could challenge the entry ban into Russia if he changes his public stance regarding Russian politics. According to him, the decision to impose the ban was prompted by criticism of the war in Ukraine, as well as violations of migration and tax legislation by the comedian.

On February 8, Nurlan Saburov commented for the first time on the situation regarding the entry ban into Russia. In his Instagram, he stated that he does not intend to discuss this issue publicly, as his lawyers will handle it.

He also reminded that he began his career in Yekaterinburg and continued in Moscow, thanking Russia for its support and opportunities for creative growth. Saburov asked journalists and bloggers to respect his personal life.

Opinion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Alibek Bakaev also commented on the situation with Saburov.

"The situation is clear: he is a citizen of Kazakhstan. Russia's decision regarding him is an internal affair of the country and is regulated by its legislation. Therefore, it is difficult to comment on the actions of a third state," Bakaev stated.

He added that such restrictions are not uncommon.

"I am sure he is not the first and will not be the last to be banned from entering for a certain period," the deputy minister noted.

According to him, each case is considered individually, and citizens can hire lawyers to appeal such decisions.

Regarding Saburov's property in Russia, the deputy minister clarified that such issues are regulated by the legislation of the country where it is located and are resolved in court.
