
During the conversation, the leaders of the two countries discussed the current status and future prospects of Kazakhstan-Russia relations. They noted that previously reached agreements continue to be implemented and positively assessed the efforts to deepen cultural and humanitarian ties. The importance of joint initiatives in the scientific and educational sphere was also discussed.
During the conversation, Tokayev once again invited Putin to visit Kazakhstan on a state visit. In addition, the presidents exchanged views on international and regional issues.
It is worth noting that Tokayev visited Russia in November 2025, while Putin visited Kazakhstan in November 2023.
