The event will be held at the Palandöken ski resort located in Erzurum.
For the second time, Erzurum will host the FIS Snowboard World Cup, as announced by the event organizers.
About 300 athletes from 20 different countries are expected to participate in these competitions.
Over three days, the best snowboarders in the world will compete on the challenging slopes of Palandöken, showcasing high speed and skill.
The first World Cup here took place in 2018, and now the city will once again host this prestigious event.
Palandöken is one of the best resorts for professional skiers and snowboarders in Turkey, renowned for its steep slopes and excellent snow cover.
Additionally, from February 12 to 15, the annual Frozen Festival will take place at the same venue.
The festival will feature live music performances, DJ sets from famous artists, as well as après-ski and evening events.
The program will also include ski and snowboard competitions with awards for the winners, yoga sessions, ice sculpture creation, and numerous themed workshops.
It is worth noting that Erzurum has been awarded the title of Tourist Capital of 2025 by the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) and has become the first European Capital of Winter Sports according to the Federation of European Capitals and Cities of Sport (ACES).
These achievements have strengthened the city's position on the international stage of winter sports.
Long slopes, modern infrastructure, and stable snow conditions make Palandöken an excellent venue for hosting competitions of the highest level.
