At the government meeting held on February 25, a bill was reviewed and approved that amends the Land Code. According to MiddleAsianNews, this law grants livestock breeders the right to 5 hectares of land for growing fodder crops and 1 hectare for winter and spring grazing of livestock.
The provision of opportunities for livestock breeders to engage in growing fodder crops is expected to be a step towards better adaptation to climate change and reducing risks associated with natural disasters.
The bill also includes provisions for allocating up to 100 hectares of land for growing grains and up to 5 hectares for vegetables to meet household needs, as well as transferring powers to local authorities, which changes the approach to the centralized distribution of land resources.
In the coming days, the bill will be presented for discussion in parliament.
