Trump noted that "this will be a joint decision... We have discussed this. I will make a decision at the right moment, considering all circumstances," he said in an interview with The Times of Israel.
When asked if Israel could continue military actions against Iran even if the U.S. decided to stop its strikes, the president replied that he did not see such a possibility.
Trump also emphasized that the Islamic Republic could have destroyed Israel if he and his colleague Netanyahu had not started the operation. "Iran was planning to destroy Israel and everything surrounding it... We acted together. We eliminated the country that was targeting the destruction of Israel," he added.
