In Iraq, two oil tankers were attacked, one person died

The attack on the tankers, as reported by CNN and Reuters, was carried out using explosive-laden boats. As a result of this incident, the operations of Iraqi oil terminals were temporarily suspended, raising concerns in the oil market. By the morning of March 12, amid attacks on vessels transporting oil, the price of oil rose again to $100 per barrel, despite the International Energy Agency's decision to release 400 million barrels from strategic reserves.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran, in comments reported by BBC News, noted that attempts to artificially suppress the rise in oil prices would not be successful, and added that one should prepare for a level of $200 per barrel.
