Actor Nikolai Garo, known for the films "Kin-dza-dza!" and "The Caucasian Captive," has died.

On March 14, at the age of 88, Nikolai Garo, an outstanding actor and producer from the Soviet Union and Russia, passed away. This was reported by the Eldar Ryazanov Museum.

Garo gained wide recognition for his roles in films such as "The Caucasian Captive, or New Adventures of Shurik" and "Kin-dza-dza!". He collaborated with directors such as Leonid Gaidai, Georgy Daneliya, and Eldar Ryazanov.
