According to Meduza, actress Aglaia Tarasova was sentenced to three years probation and fined 200,000 rubles for drug smuggling.
As reported by RIA Novosti, the prosecutor demanded three and a half years of probation for Tarasova during the hearing.
The prosecutor noted that "Tarasova's rehabilitation is possible without isolation from society" during the court debates.
The hearing on November 26 was held behind closed doors, with the defense represented by the actress's colleagues, including actors Leonid Yarmolnik, Yevgeny Tsyganov, and Yulia Snigir.
Aglaia Tarasova is the daughter of renowned actress Ksenia Rappoport and gained popularity for her roles in the films "Ice" and "Ice 2." She also holds Israeli citizenship in addition to her Russian citizenship.
The actress was detained at Domodedovo Airport at the end of August when a vape containing 0.38 grams of hashish oil, which is banned in Russia but legal in Israel, was found in her possession. On September 5, the court imposed restrictions on Tarasova, including a ban on using the internet and going out at night. During the court proceedings, the actress fully admitted her guilt.
