Action star of the 80s Chuck Norris passed away at the age of 86

The actor died on March 19 in Hawaii. Norris's family made an official statement expressing deep sorrow and announcing his sudden passing. "He was surrounded by loving family and found peace," the relatives noted.

According to information from TMZ, Norris was hospitalized on the night of March 19. One source reported that the actor, while in good spirits and training, suddenly felt unwell.

Chuck Norris, born in 1940 in Oklahoma, served in the U.S. Air Force from 1958 to 1962. He was married twice and left behind five children, including notable figures such as actor Mike Norris and NASCAR driver Eric Norris.

Norris is best known for his roles in 80s action films and the television project "Walker, Texas Ranger," which aired in the 1990s.

In recent years, the actor had hardly appeared in films, except for a small role in "The Expendables 2" (2012).

Chuck Norris held black belts in several martial arts and was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1989. In 2010, he became a real Texas Ranger.

It is known that Norris and Bruce Lee were close friends and trained together in the 60s. Both actors appeared together in the film "Way of the Dragon" in 1972.
