TASS reports that the volume of supplies will amount to 10,000 tons of diesel from Russia.
As part of the government decree on creating reserves of petroleum products for the spring sowing season, Mongolia will allocate 10,000 tons of diesel fuel imported from Russia to farmers at a reduced price. This was announced by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.
According to the ministry's information, "in light of the current international situation and possible disruptions in the supply of petroleum products, the government of Mongolia has instructed urgent measures to create reserves and deliver them for sowing work. As a result of an agreement with 23 importers, farmers will be provided with 10,000 tons of diesel at a price of ₮3,400 (approximately $0.95)."
In addition, the Russian-Mongolian agreement includes the supply of 1.8-1.9 million tons of petroleum products and 60,000 tons of aviation fuel per year on mutually beneficial terms.
