Until April 12, precipitation in the form of rain, sleet, and snow is forecasted in some parts of the country.
Expected rains and snowfalls:
- April 5 in the valleys of the Kherlen, Onon, and Ulz rivers, as well as in the Dornod and Darganga steppes;
- April 6 in the Khlkh river valley;
- April 7 in the northern parts of the western aimags and northwestern areas of the central aimags;
- April 8 in the mountainous regions of Altai and Khangaï;
- April 9 in the mountainous regions of Khangaï and Khentii;
- April 11 in the northern parts of the western and central aimags;
- April 12 in some areas of the western and central aimags.
Wind: On April 4 and 5 in the Gobi, steppe, and pasture areas, on April 8, 9, and 11 in certain parts of the region, as well as on April 12 in the Gobi, with speeds reaching 16-18 meters per second, which may lead to dust storms in the south.
In Ulaanbaatar today, there is variable cloudiness with no precipitation. The wind is northwesterly at a speed of 4-7 meters per second. The air temperature ranges from -2 to -8°C, relative humidity will be around 61%, and atmospheric pressure will remain at 864 hPa.
