On March 28, a warning was issued for wet snow and blizzards in the northern part of the country, as well as strong gusts of wind in the south.
Precipitation: Cloudy weather is expected in most regions. During the night, snowfalls will occur in the eastern part of the western aimags, as well as in the northern and western parts of the central aimags. During the day, precipitation is expected in the southeastern part of the western aimags and in some areas of the central, eastern, and Gobi aimags. No precipitation is forecasted in the remaining areas.
Wind: At night in the west of the country and during the day in the east, the wind will change direction from southwest to northwest, with a speed of 5-10 meters per second, and in some places, it may reach 13-15 meters per second.
Air temperature: At night, in the headwaters of the Zavkhan River and in the valleys of the Baidrag, Ider, and Tes rivers, the temperature will fluctuate from -10 to -15°C. In the areas around Lake Uvs, the Darhad Basin, and in the mountainous regions of Altai, Khangai, Khubsugul, and Khentii, the temperature will be from -5 to -10°C. In the southern part of the Gobi region, temperatures are expected to range from 0 to +5°C, in the foothills of the Khangai Mountains and the northern part of the Gobi region from +2 to -3°C, while in other regions, the temperature will be between 0 and -5°C. During the day, temperatures in the areas around Lake Uvs, the Darhad Basin, the headwaters of the Zavkhan River, and in the valleys of the Ider, Tes, and Baidrag rivers will range from -3 to +2°C, in the mountainous areas of Khangai, Khubsugul, and Khentii, as well as in the valleys of the Tuul and Terelj rivers from -1 to +6°C, in the Gobi and Dariganga steppe from -10 to +15°C, and in other areas from -4 to +9°C.
In Ulaanbaatar, cloudy weather with light precipitation is expected. The wind will change direction from southwest to northwest, with speeds of 6-11 meters per second, reaching 13-15 meters per second in some areas. The relative humidity will be 66%, and atmospheric pressure will be at 867 hPa. In the Yarmag-Songino area, temperatures at night will range from -2 to -4°C, in other places around 0°C, and during the day, temperatures will rise to +2-+4°C.
