During the meeting, attention was focused on the prevention of road traffic accidents and summarizing the results of work for January.
In the reporting period, PPD employees identified the following violations:
— 616 drivers who were behind the wheel while intoxicated (which is 341 cases more compared to January 2025);
— 1254 cases of driving in the opposite lane (which is 493 cases more);
— 483 drivers operating vehicles with illegal tinting on the front windows (241 cases more);
— 22 cases of using counterfeit license plates (10 more);
— the total number of protocols on violations amounted to 41,868;
— 11,672 vehicles were placed in the impound lot for various violations.
The PPD noted that despite the imposed bans, active raids, and constant warnings, some drivers continue to disregard traffic rules.
