The incident occurred around noon when the patrol stopped a Hyundai Sonata vehicle. During the inspection, it was revealed that the car had counterfeit license plates.
Additionally, it was established that the driver was not only under the influence of drugs but also did not have a driver's license with him. During the search of the vehicle, he voluntarily handed over two more pairs of fake license plates. Currently, the Patrol Police are conducting an investigation regarding the possible use of these plates in the "Safe City" system.
Relevant protocols have been drawn up against the offender, and the case materials have been sent to court for further proceedings. The vehicle was placed in a towing lot.
