2 kg 14 grams of narcotic substance were found in the car
In the village of Vostok, police officers stopped a vehicle that contained a significant amount of drugs. This was reported by the Internal Affairs Department of the Sverdlovsk district of Bishkek.
Operational information about the suspicious activities of citizen A.A. was received by the police. According to the data, he was engaged in the illegal drug trade at the corner of Jibek-Jolu Avenue and Kalinin Street.
As a result of operational-search activities, a "KIA Picanto" vehicle was stopped at the intersection of Kalinin and Ozyornaya streets in the village of Vostok. During the inspection of the vehicle, citizen A.A. voluntarily handed over to the law enforcement officers a package containing a plant-based substance with a characteristic smell, weighing 2 kg 014 grams.
A forensic chemical examination was appointed for the seized substance. Initial results confirmed that it is a narcotic drug — cannabis (marijuana), which is included in the list of prohibited substances.
The suspect was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department. Currently, all necessary investigative actions are being carried out in the case.
