Operational services received information that in the area where Jibek Jolu Avenue intersects with Kalinin Street, a certain citizen is engaged in the collection, storage, and distribution of narcotic substances.
Based on the collected materials, the Investigative Service of the Sverdlovsk District Internal Affairs opened a criminal case under Article 283 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which concerns the illegal production of drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs without the intent to sell.
During operational activities at the intersection of Kalinin and Ozernaia Streets, police officers stopped a KIA Picanto vehicle. The driver, named A.A., voluntarily handed over a package containing a plant-based substance with a characteristic smell. A total of 2 kilograms and 14 grams of drugs were seized.
According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic chemical examination, this substance is cannabis (marijuana).
The suspect has been detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Internal Affairs. Further investigative actions are underway.
