According to law enforcement, on March 2, a citizen identified as G.N. approached the Oktyabrsky District Police Department, reporting that a woman named Nuraiym had deceitfully taken her money.

According to the information, from February to March 1, the suspect was able to mislead the trusting citizen by offering her the opportunity to increase her income through a Telegram platform, and involved her in a group engaged in so-called trading.
Following the recommendations from this group, the victim opened bank accounts and electronic wallets in the systems “Mbank,” “O!Money,” and “Optima Bank,” after which the fraudsters took possession of her funds, totaling 40,000 soms. As soon as the money was transferred, the perpetrators stopped communicating.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case was initiated under the article “Fraud” of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. During operational activities, police officers identified and detained the suspect — N.I., born in 2000, who was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police.
Law enforcement agencies report that this suspect is related to more than 10 similar cases of fraud. The investigation is ongoing.
The Bishkek City Police urges citizens to be vigilant, avoid trusting unfamiliar individuals online, not to transfer money to little-known people, and not to participate in dubious financial schemes.
