On January 14, a resident of the capital contacted law enforcement, reporting fraudulent activities by an Instagram account under the name bella_gadane.kg. According to her, the perpetrator swindled 523,366 soms from her, promising to "open the path" to success. After receiving the money, the woman stopped communicating and blocked the victim.
This case has been registered in accordance with Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Operatives of the Oktobrskiy police department managed to detain the suspect, B.E., born in 1993. She was placed in a temporary detention facility.
During a search, the detainee was found to have mobile phones, bank cards, advertising materials, business cards, a Quran, a book titled "Kabyl bolgon dualar," as well as an old book with yellowed pages, on the title page of which is a symbol resembling a Celtic Trinity knot, a deck of "Tarot" cards, and banknotes resembling 100-dollar bills. All seized items will be added to the materials of the criminal case.
Police officers suspect that this woman may be involved in other similar crimes. In this regard, law enforcement agencies urge anyone who has been a victim of her actions or has any information to contact the following numbers: 0 (700) 21-00-24, 0 (551) 90-00-59, or 102.
