According to information received from the Investigative Service, a citizen named O.G. approached them, stating that from May to the end of October 2025, a young woman named A. gained her trust. She promised to "open the way in business" and conducted various rituals, as a result of which the complainant lost $43,000. After that, the fraudster disappeared.
Based on this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational measures, the police were able to identify and detain the suspect. She turned out to be 23-year-old citizen M.K. She was taken to the Investigative Service of the Internal Affairs Department and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the investigation, the detainee acted as a "healer," deceitfully obtaining people's money by promising to help them in business, personal life, and other areas. During the rituals, she insisted that the victims leave money in cemeteries, using needles, threads, and other items.
The investigation into this case is ongoing.
