The violation was recorded on video, which became popular on social media: the footage shows the ZIL vehicle moving in the opposite direction in a lane designated for public transport on Moscow Street.
The patrol officers were able to identify the offender and drew up a protocol against him based on Article 38, Part 2 of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Due to previously imposed fines, the cargo vehicle was sent to the impound lot. According to the video recording, the driver had 16 violations, with a total fine amounting to 31,000 soms.
