According to the Patrol Service, the patrol noticed a Toyota Camry driven by a driver who was behaving suspiciously and creating dangerous situations on the road.
The inspectors attempted to stop the vehicle; however, the driver did not respond to the demand and tried to escape. As a result of a short chase, the police were able to stop the vehicle.
Upon inspection, it was revealed that the driver was intoxicated. A violation report was drawn up against him, and the vehicle was impounded.
The Patrol Service of the Police emphasized that driving under the influence of alcohol is a serious violation of traffic rules and poses a danger to the life and health of other road users. The agency will continue to conduct active raids to identify similar cases.
