Other conditions put forward by Iran include:
- compensation for military actions;
- new rules for passage through the Strait of Hormuz, including the possibility of charging fees for the passage of ships (similar to Egypt and the Suez Canal);
- guarantees against the resumption of hostilities, as well as an end to Israeli attacks on the Lebanese group "Hezbollah";
- complete lifting of sanctions against Iran;
- maintenance of Iran's missile program without any restrictions.
It was previously reported that Iran has hardened its stance and intends to present serious demands to the U.S. if mediation efforts lead to negotiations. Among these demands are guarantees of non-aggression and compensation for losses during the war, as well as formal control over the Strait of Hormuz. In response, the U.S. presented Iran with a 15-point plan to end the conflict, which, according to Israeli "Channel 12," includes Iran's complete abandonment of its nuclear program and cessation of support for proxy groups in the region, as well as restrictions on the number and range of missiles.
