In order to prevent the spread of radical religious ideas and possible recruitment among minors, the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (GKNB KR) conducted inspections of 19 madrasas. This was reported by the press service of the agency.

As a result of the inspections, three madrasas were closed due to the lack of necessary permits, and operational investigative actions were initiated in accordance with the country's legislation. Two madrasas were fined and temporarily suspended their activities due to serious sanitary violations, while another four educational institutions received warnings about the need to address minor deficiencies.
