Law Enforcement Found an Underground Casino in Aravan. Local Deputy Detained

According to information provided by the press service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (GKNB KR), an illegal casino was discovered in Aravan, and Deputy K. Sh. from the Dobo-Korgon rural council is suspected of being involved in its organization. His trusted person, S. Sh., was also detained.

The casino operated without the necessary permits and did not pay taxes to the country's budget, which constitutes a serious violation.

During the search of the casino, 11 computers used for accessing internet casinos were found, as well as 400,000 soms and other items related to gambling.

Based on the collected evidence, K. Sh. and S. Sh. were charged with violating the law under Article 219 "Illegal organization of gambling activities." On March 19, they were sent to the GKNB KR detention center by the decision of the Osh City Court.
