Today in Bishkek, a solemn event is taking place dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the newspaper "Slovo Kyrgyzstana".
Among the participants of the celebration are the Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic Marat Tagaev, State Secretary Marat Imankulov, Deputy Chairman of the Union of Journalists Kurmanbek Ramatov, as well as the editor-in-chief of the publishing house "Slovo Kyrgyzstana" Elena Zholobova and other invited guests.
At the opening of the event, a documentary film was shown, telling the history of the newspaper.
In his congratulatory speech, Marat Tagaev emphasized that "Slovo Kyrgyzstana" has faithfully served the people for a hundred years, highlighting its importance and significance.
He added: "This is not just a publication, but an important symbol that reflects the state mindset and historical stages of the Kyrgyz people, as well as changes in our society and country."
