In the Kyrgyz Republic, at the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry (MWSAPI), a working meeting was held with participants representing the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF).
Key department heads of MWSAPI, as well as board members and experts from the fund, participated in this meeting.
Issues related to cooperation in the agricultural sector, processing industry, cluster approach, and project implementation within the framework of public-private partnerships were discussed.
The fund representatives provided information about their investment and credit activities aimed at supporting agricultural initiatives, including:
- volumes and geography of financing;
- priority areas;
- key implemented projects;
- financial instruments and technical assistance measures;
- future plans;
- existing problems in the project implementation process.
Additionally, during the discussions, opportunities for further cooperation were considered, including expanding the project portfolio, developing cluster initiatives, and modernizing the processing industry. "The parties also preliminarily discussed the content of a future memorandum of cooperation between MWSAPI and RKDF," the official statement reports.
