By September 1, 2027, three out of nine new schools with instruction in Russian will open in Kyrgyzstan. This statement was made by Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, during his state visit to Kyrgyzstan at a meeting in "Yntymak Ordo." He noted: "In 2023, we began the implementation of a significant joint project to build nine secondary schools with the Russian language of instruction. The opening of the first three is scheduled for September 1, 2027," he addressed to the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov.

Additionally, Putin mentioned that within the framework of the "Russian Teacher Abroad" initiative, 157 Russian teachers are working in 42 schools in Kyrgyzstan.

He also recalled the Days of Kyrgyz Culture in Russia, which successfully took place in October 2024, and this autumn, the Days of Russian Culture in Kyrgyzstan are expected.

The Russian leader emphasized the importance of the Russian language in Kyrgyzstan: "We highly appreciate the support of the leadership of Kyrgyzstan on issues related to the Russian language, which has official status in the country," he added.
