Smog in Bishkek. The municipal inspection conducts raids in the capital's baths

In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, events are being held to monitor air quality. This was reported by the press service of the city's mayor's office.

During raids conducted by the municipal inspection in the Pervomaisky district, 12 bathhouses were checked.

“The results of the inspection led to the drafting of two protocols against the owners of private bathhouses, resulting in fines totaling 15,000 soms. In the Leninsky district, inspectors checked 64 facilities, where they also held explanatory discussions about the ban on burning hazardous materials and the use of fine-grained coal. In the Sverdlovsky district, 10 bathhouses were inspected, and no violations regarding the burning of prohibited items were found. In total, the inspection covered 86 facilities and drafted 5 protocols for a total of 34,000 soms,” the official release states.

The Bishkek mayor's office reminds citizens of the inadmissibility of burning waste such as sewing remnants, automotive oils, paints and varnishes, plastics, rubber, and other harmful materials.
