Kyrgyzstan and Japan intend to strengthen cooperation in the field of judicial expertise

Recently, a delegation from Japan visited the forensic expert service of Kyrgyzstan. The delegation included Professor and Prosecutor of the International Cooperation Department of the Research Institute for Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Justice of Japan, Oku Daiki, and Chief Expert of the same institute, Takahashi Shogo.

This visit was part of a cooperation program between the ministries of justice of the two countries and aimed at preparing the "Second Joint Study of the Legal Systems of Japan and the Kyrgyz Republic," according to the Ministry of Justice.

During the meeting, the main focus was on promoting cooperation in the field of forensic expertise, exchanging experiences, implementing modern technologies, and enhancing the professional qualifications of personnel.

Talantbek Kozhonov, Chairman of the Forensic Expert Service, noted that deepening international cooperation is one of the key areas of work for their institution.

In turn, Oku Daiki expressed the Japanese side's readiness to promptly begin joint research and develop practical projects in priority areas.

At the end of the official program of the visit, the Japanese guests familiarized themselves with the activities of the divisions of the Forensic Expert Service, which allowed them to see the variety of research conducted and the potential of the expert services.
