The Supreme Court reports that the key aspects of the visit are the development of international legal cooperation and the exchange of best practices to improve the functioning of the judicial and prosecutorial systems. This interaction between the law enforcement and judicial bodies of Kyrgyzstan and China is significant for justice and strengthening mutual understanding.
During the meeting, Nurgul Bakirova informed her Chinese colleagues about the functioning of the judicial system in Kyrgyzstan.
“Our judicial system, led by the Supreme Court, continues to enhance justice. We are undergoing deep modernization, which makes it a more effective mechanism for protecting the rights and interests of citizens and organizations,” she noted.
Nurlan Musaev emphasized in his address that the presidents of the two countries previously stated in Xi'an about elevating Chinese-Kyrgyz relations to the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership.
“Cooperation in the field of justice is an important and integral part of bilateral relations. We can confidently say that not only professional but also warm friendly ties have been established between the Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan and the Supreme People's Court of China. In recent years, we have been actively developing cooperation with the Embassy of China in Kyrgyzstan,” Nurlan Musaev noted.
The Chinese delegation expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and noted that it is a great honor for them to visit the highest judicial authority of Kyrgyzstan. They also emphasized that there is much in common between the judicial and prosecutorial systems of the two countries.
