For his part, Rahmon emphasized that the relations between Tajikistan and Russia are strengthening, and there are currently no unresolved issues. “The dynamics of our bilateral relations are positive, trade turnover has increased by almost 20 percent compared to last year. Everything is going according to plan at the moment, and during your state visit, we reached agreements,” stated the Tajik president.
Rahmon also reported that he accepted the invitation to meet in St. Petersburg on December 21 at an informal summit of the CIS heads of state.
