Chynara Junusova, the mother of the girl, informed Vesti.kg about the situation.
She reported that her daughter required several surgical interventions, including operations in Turkey. Doctors noted the presence of fragments, which made the surgery necessary. The first operation was performed in one of the state hospitals in Bishkek, but soon after, an infection occurred, and the girl had to be operated on again. Since the situation was complicated, the family had to seek help in Turkey. In total, the girl underwent five surgeries.
“In such cases, it is important for the patient to remain calm with weights, but due to Nariste's autism, this is impossible. As a result, complications arose, and the child suffered greatly. Additionally, she now has osteomyelitis, and we continue treatment,” Chynara said.
She also noted that in court she requested compensation of about two million soms from the defendant, but the court denied the claim.
“These funds were spent on treatment, flights, and accommodation. I did not take into account that I had to quit my job to care for my daughter, nor did I calculate numerous small expenses. I provided the court with all the necessary documents with confirming receipts,” she explained.
Chynara added that she plans to appeal the court's decision to a higher authority.
Recall that earlier the psychologist who broke the arm of a girl with autism was sentenced to six years in prison to be served in a general regime colony.
