This information was provided by the coordinator of the Ministry of Health in the Batken region, Arzybek Börübekov, in a conversation with a Turmush correspondent.
According to him, on October 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM, a resident of Batken city, born in 1994 and named J.A., went to the maternity ward of the Batken Regional Unified Hospital. Two days later, she gave birth, but unfortunately, the baby was born without signs of life. The woman was receiving treatment and, unfortunately, passed away more than a month and a half after childbirth.
After childbirth, the condition of the mother sharply deteriorated, and she was transferred to the intensive care unit, where she received necessary medical assistance, including surgery. She also underwent hemodialysis procedures, as her kidneys had stopped functioning properly.
Doctors regularly discussed her condition with colleagues from Bishkek and Osh, holding consultations. The woman was sent several times by air ambulance to Osh for better quality consultations, and treatment was carried out in collaboration with local specialists. However, unfortunately, on the 49th day after childbirth, she passed away. Additionally, as noted by A. Börübekov, the doctors maintained communication with the woman's relatives, informing them about her condition and discussing further steps.
