In Bishkek, at the Lenin District Court, a verdict was announced for Ilya Ananyev, a private psychologist who broke the arm of a girl with autism. The court sentenced him to six years in a general regime colony. This was reported by Nazgul Turdubekova, head of the NGO "League of Child Rights Defenders," on her Facebook page. The accused was detained right in the courtroom.

According to information provided by Chynara Junusova, her daughter, Narista Nurlanova, had been subjected to painful techniques during sessions for a long time. On December 23, 2024, during an individual session, the psychologist broke her arm.

Junusova described the consequences: "Five surgeries, constant pain, and chronic osteomyelitis. Narista had to undergo a long course of treatment. Each procedure was difficult for her, especially considering her diagnosis. She experiences fear of people and touch and is still trying to regain her peace of mind."

In hopes of a fair court outcome, Junusova also shared information about the incident on social media.

Turdubekova commented that this case has caused a wide public outcry and has once again highlighted the issues of safety for children with disabilities and the responsibility of those who work with vulnerable groups of minors.
