During a survey conducted by journalists from 24.kg, it was found out how much money the residents of Osh plan to spend on celebrating the New Year.
According to most respondents, the average expenses will amount to approximately 5,000 soms, which will mainly go towards the festive table and gifts for relatives.
However, among those surveyed, there were also some who are ready to allocate significantly larger amounts for the celebration — up to 50,000 soms, depending on family traditions and financial situation.
Residents of Osh noted that the main items of expenditure remain food and gifts, while spending on entertainment and travel this year is less relevant.
“What matters is not how much you spend, but the mood you have and who you celebrate the New Year with,” the townspeople emphasize.
