Modern equipment transferred to the Archive Service of Kyrgyzstan

The State Archive of Kyrgyzstan has received modern equipment

In the context of the digital economy, the State Archive of Kyrgyzstan has begun receiving modern equipment that will assist in the digitization of archival documents and the preservation of historical heritage. This was reported on the official website of the institution.

As part of the delivery, the following items were acquired:

- large-format A2 and A3 scanners designed for careful digitization of old and bulky documents;

- powerful personal computers that will be used for processing the received materials;

- a server for storing and managing digital archival documents. Additionally, there are plans to deliver a film scanner for film archives and desktop A4 book scanners in the future.

Equipping the archives with modern equipment represents a key step towards accelerating the transition of state archives in Kyrgyzstan to digital technologies, ensuring their accessibility and long-term preservation.
