Obtaining a master's degree in Russia opens new horizons for young Kyrgyzstani students. It is an opportunity to delve deeper into their specialty, gain access to current scientific research, and modern educational methodologies, as reported by the press service of Rossotrudnichestvo in Kyrgyzstan.
Kyrgyz students who are finishing their bachelor's degree or already hold higher education can apply for master's programs at Russian universities through special quotas provided by the Government of Russia.
For the academic year 2026/27, Kyrgyzstan has been allocated 700 places under these quotas. Education will be free for students, as the places are provided on a budgetary basis. Additionally, admitted students can expect scholarships and accommodation in dormitories. The available study programs cover 56 fields.
One significant advantage of this program is the ability to apply without leaving Kyrgyzstan. All stages of document submission and competitive examinations are conducted online. Applicants can indicate up to six universities in order of preference for their chosen specialty.
The document submission deadline is December 15, 2025. To apply, it is necessary to register, select a field, and upload scans of the required documents.
