According to him, unlike previous years when applicants were required to provide copies of documents and take exams at several institutions, the process has now become significantly easier.
“While in Kyrgyzstan, you can choose the desired specialty—whether it is medicine, philology, geology, or another field. You will be presented with a list of universities where this specialty is available. For example, you can choose two educational institutions in Moscow, two in St. Petersburg, and one each in Yekaterinburg and other cities. In total, more than 450 universities participate in the program. If you successfully pass the testing and score the necessary points, your applications will be considered,” Zulkharniev noted.
He also added that the number of specialties available for study is significantly increasing.
“This program includes almost all civilian fields: engineering, creative, pedagogical, medical, agricultural, legal, economic, and IT. Out of 700 quotas, separate competitions are held for various groups of specialties; for example, 30 places are allocated for creative universities, and 45 for training in financial intelligence. This year, for the first time, a significant number of places for master's programs at the flagship universities of Rosatom have been provided,” he added.
Additionally, Zulkharniev reminded that dormitories and scholarships are provided for students under the quota.
