Until December 15, applications from citizens of Kyrgyzstan for admission to universities in Russia are being accepted.
According to Zulkharnayev, the application process for admission to Russian higher educational institutions traditionally begins in the fall. The application process is simple, accessible, and transparent, covering almost all specialties and levels of education.
He recommends that graduates not postpone their applications until the end of the academic year. “Many of them start thinking about the future only in June or July, but that is already too late. To be able to enroll in budget-funded places at Russian universities, applications should be submitted by December 15. Graduates can choose a bachelor's degree (duration of study — four years) or a specialist degree (five years). Those who already have a diploma have opportunities for further studies in master's programs, postgraduate studies, or residency for medical specialties. There are also advanced training courses available, which can last from one month to two years,” he said.
Zulkharnayev noted that one of the main advantages of studying at Russian universities is the free nature of the entire process. “At any stage, from consultations to testing, no financial investments are required. This is important to consider, as there are unscrupulous organizations that may offer various services,” he added.
He also emphasized that applications are submitted online, which eliminates the need for personal presence. It is sufficient to scan the documents and send them. Testing is also conducted remotely, with the participant needing to be alone in the room. It is important to note that passing the ORT or the Unified State Exam, which are usually held at the end of the academic year, is not required for submitting an application — applications are accepted until December 15.
