Construction of a laboratory has begun in Balykchy, aimed at ensuring phytosanitary safety. The project is being implemented with the support of the Islamic Development Bank.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, $350,000 has been allocated for the creation of the laboratory, including the purchase of equipment, office technology, and furniture.
According to the signed agreement between the Department of Chemicalization, Plant Protection and Quarantine, the Islamic Development Bank, and the company "UniHelp," laboratory equipment and office furniture will be purchased for a total of 14,170,121 soms.
The construction of this laboratory is seen as an important step towards ensuring phytosanitary safety in the Issyk-Kul and Naryn regions.
The statement emphasizes that the new laboratory will not only help reduce damage from quarantine pests but also support the region's economy by protecting its natural resources.
