The championship was organized by the Issyk-Kul Regional Chess Federation and the regional sports administration. Based on the results of the tournament, the chess players who showed the best results received invitations to the national championship, which will be held in January.
The award ceremony for the winners with medals and diplomas is scheduled for December 27 during a festive evening dedicated to summarizing the year's results. In addition, this year the regional chess federation intends to pay special attention to athletes who have achieved significant success throughout the year and present them with valuable gifts.
