The Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic reported the acquisition of modern equipment intended for artificial insemination of cattle. This became possible thanks to the efforts of the Veterinary Service, Livestock Development, Pastures, and Feed.
Zhanybek Kerimaliev, the First Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, visited the site where the new equipment was installed to familiarize himself with its specifications and assess the progress of the project.
The equipment was purchased as part of a World Bank initiative aimed at "Developing Sustainable Agri-food Clusters" and is being implemented through the Center for Competitiveness in Agribusiness.
The acquired sets include Dewar vessels, which ensure long-term storage of frozen semen, as well as other specialized tools necessary for conducting artificial insemination at a high level of quality.
