When it comes to gifts, many city dwellers recall the emotions they experienced. Family dinners, unexpected meetings, and travels hold an important place in their memories. One survey participant shared that an unforgettable gift for her was a ticket to Phu Quoc.

“It was an incredible time, so many memories remain,” she said.

However, material gifts also have their value, especially if they were desired. Gadgets such as smartphones and cameras were often mentioned as successful gifts. Yet even those who were satisfied with the technology agree that the emotions derived from it are less than those from unexpected surprises or trips.

The list of unsuccessful gifts was also interesting. Socks and dishes were mentioned most frequently, especially if they were chosen without considering the recipient's preferences. As one survey participant noted, “the wrong dish” can spoil the impression of the gift.

“The worst gift for me is socks, and the best is a camera,” shared one city dweller who spent time with family.

Additionally, many noted that the most memorable gifts are unexpected meetings with loved ones and surprises for no reason: “The best gift is moments that cannot be anticipated in advance.”

However, according to the respondents' answers, the most valuable gift was an event unrelated to emotions or material things. One of the interviewees confidently stated that the birth of her daughter is a unique event that cannot be compared to anything else.
