According to the press service of the akyikatчы, Dzhamanbaeva visited the women's correctional colony No. 2, located in the village of Stepnoye, where she held meetings with women wishing to express their thoughts.
“Women convicted of fraud expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of opportunity for parole (UDO) and probation until 75% of the damage to the victims is paid,” the press release states.
It is also reported that there is a sewing workshop and a bakery in the colony, where women are employed. Additionally, they work in the kitchen, in the hairdressing salon, and in the store.
It should be noted that during the communication, the convicts did not mention any complaints about working conditions and even noted that their wages had recently been increased.
