On January 6, the bridge on J. Shamsiyev Street in Osh was opened after major repairs were completed. This was reported by the press service of the city administration.

The bridge is 21 meters long and 9 meters wide, with sidewalks on both sides and green areas. Irrigation ditches were also installed, and water pipes were laid. Previously, J. Shamsiyev Street itself was completely reconstructed, increasing its width to 22 meters and becoming a four-lane road.

As noted in the city administration's message, this bridge provides access to the Osh Regional Hospital and is an important transportation artery, thus the traffic here is quite intense. Repairs had not been conducted in this area previously. During an inspection, Osh Mayor Jenishbek Toktorbaev ordered the road to be widened and asphalted. As a result of the work, several buildings that obstructed the project were demolished, allowing for the creation of a modern and convenient road for the city's residents.

It is worth mentioning that in the spring, the demolition of 14 houses on J. Shamsiyev Street began without prior notice. Later, the issue was partially resolved; however, some buildings were still dismantled.
