In the latest edition of the Passport Index, published by Henley & Partners, Kyrgyzstan ranks 75th, sharing this position with Uzbekistan. This ranking, which covers over a hundred countries, is based on data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

With a Kyrgyz passport, citizens can visit 61 countries without the need for a visa.

Kazakhstan is in 61st place, allowing its citizens to visit 78 countries without a visa, making its passport the most "powerful" in Central Asia. Tajikistan is in 81st position (54 countries), while Turkmenistan occupies the 87th spot (47 countries).

Singapore has become the leader of the ranking, granting access to 192 countries, followed by Japan and South Korea with 188 destinations.

It is worth noting that in 2025, Kyrgyzstan was ranked 73rd in the same index.

The Passport Index by Henley & Partners is an international ranking that assesses the level of freedom of movement for citizens of different countries. It analyzes visa requirements and ranks countries based on the number of destinations where citizens can travel without a visa or with a visa on arrival.

The country's ranking is based on the number of states that its citizens can enter without prior visa arrangements.
