As a result of reviewing these reports, 777 individuals received protection orders. Of these, 712 orders were issued to women, 24 to girls, and 41 to men.
Since the beginning of 2026, in the first ten days, 45 new reports of domestic violence were registered, for which protection orders were issued in 40 cases. Of these, 39 were given to women and one to a man.
- Protection orders are intended to safeguard and prevent cases of domestic violence. The law "On the Protection and Prevention of Domestic Violence" was adopted in Kyrgyzstan in 2003 and was amended in 2017, allowing for the introduction of the concept of "protection order".
