The head of GOM-1 of the Lenin District Internal Affairs Department, Altynbek Chynberdiev, conducts checks on families registered due to incidents of domestic violence.
At the end of 2025, a 28-year-old woman, who is the mother of five children, reported to law enforcement about her 30-year-old husband. The husband was detained and arrested for several days on charges of domestic violence. According to the woman, this is not the first such incident — her husband had previously faced punishment.
However, despite the incident, the woman continues to live with her husband and noted in a conversation with Chynberdiev that currently there is peace in their family.
In another case, which occurred in the Ak-Ordo-3 residential area, the head of GOM-1 decided to extend the protection order for one of the residents. The victim reported that her husband does not work and suffers from alcohol dependence, which leads to regular conflicts in the family.
On the eve of the New Year, the man took a knife and attempted to attack his wife and son, who tried to protect his mother. As a result, the police were called to the scene, and they decided to send the man for treatment at a drug rehabilitation clinic.
According to the woman, her husband was discharged on January 2, but he did not return home and is currently in an unknown location within the district.
