Comparing with the previous year, the number of police calls regarding domestic violence cases increased by 4,320. Additionally, the number of victims seeking protective orders from the police has also risen, he noted.
In his previous interview, Saparbaev mentioned that in the first nine months, the electronic incident log recorded 16,284 cases of domestic violence, for which 12,756 protective orders were issued. This is a 20% increase compared to similar figures from 2024.
According to Saparbaev, among the aggressors, one can find both close and distant relatives of the victims, as well as people from various professions and social statuses.
Statistics show that 95% of female victims fall within the age category of 25-40 years, he added.
