The trolleybus has become an essential element of the country's transport system, providing environmentally friendly mobility, which is especially relevant for passengers with disabilities and children.In connection with this significant date, the initiative #Bishkek Smog invites everyone to a festive event that will take place on January 16 at 17:00 at: Orozbekova St., 87, Park Hotel Bishkek, Ballroom, 2nd floor.
Among the honored guests will be employees of the trolleybus management, and we are happy to see everyone who has ever worked in the field of electric transport!
Event Program
Part One: Expert Round Table- 17:00-17:15 - Opening with welcoming words from representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the KR, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the KR, as well as the Bishkek City Hall (details to be confirmed).
- 17:15-17:30 - Presentation by Yegor Muleev, a researcher at the Leibniz Institute of Regional Geography, on "Knowledge of Urban Electric Transport: History and Modernity" (online).
- 17:30-17:45 - Presentation by Professor Ángel Aparicio, UNDP KR expert, on the electric mobility project. He has been teaching at the Faculty of Transport of the Technical University of Madrid since 2009 (online, with translation from Russian to English).
- 17:45-18:00 - Speeches by representatives of the UN OHCHR, EBRD, ADB, and "Bir Duyno - Kyrgyzstan" (details to be confirmed).
- 18:00-18:30 - Q&A and discussion session.
- 18:30-18:50 - Quiz on electric transport.
- 18:50-19:30 - Musical program and acknowledgments to the veterans of the trolleybus management.
